How to maximise wardrobe space: Aussie professional organiser swears by $4 Kmart closet rod

A professional organiser has hailed a $4 Kmart product for maximising wardrobe space.

Anita Birges, from Sydney, shared a TikTok video showing how she used a hang closet rod to double the space in the wardrobe that's perfect for renters and young kids.

"I wanna show you one of my all time favourite wardrobe organising hacks," she said.

"It works especially well if you’ve got kids and you want them to be able to reach their clothes, utilise the space better and if you’re renting and need a temporary organising solution."

The video shows her hanging the rod inside a wardrobe to create extra space for hanging clothes.

"Watch how it completely transforms this wardrobe," Anita said.

Her video has been viewed more than 815,000 times - with many describing the product as "genius".
